Dukan Chinese Orange Beef


Dukan Chinese Orange Beef

Preparation time : 10 min , Cooking time :25 min , For 4 people Cruise phase 

Ingredients:


2 slices reduced fat bacon, cut into strips

1 large onion, peeled and thickly sliced

2 cups lean steak, cut into strips

2 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced

½ Chinese cabbage, shredded

3-5 drops orange flavoring

2 teaspoons corn starch

1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons torn coriander leaves



Preparation:


  1. Dry fry the bacon in a wok for 1 minute before adding the onion and steak. 
  2. Continue to stir-fry for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Add the carrots and cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix the orange flavoring into ¾ cups plus 1 tablespoon water and pour into the wok. 
  5. Bring to a boil then simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Mix the corn starch with the soy sauce and a little water then pour into the wok and stir until the sauce starts to thicken.
  7. Stir in the chopped coriander and serve.
